I am writing from home today. I am looking forward to bringing Gerald home and taking care of him. What a gift marriage is!! I am so thankful for God's covenant love that enables us to covenant with one another and promise "For better or worse, till death do us part". When we make that promise, we never know what it might mean, but we do know that God will be faithful to enable us keep our promises. God's faithfulness NEVER fails!!!
Yesterday was a tough day, but things are better today. On Sunday they will unwrap the leg and examine the graft. If all is well, they will splint it and send him home in a wheelchair. He must keep it up for a couple of weeks, then we are not sure exactly what will follow. Not sure yet if he will come home Sunday or Monday. I'll be sure to let you know more later. Thanks for your continued prayers.
Susan
Thanks for taking time to keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteI called this morning to see if I could get you lunch or do anything for you since I am in Durham every day. Please call me if I can help you with anything! Love to both of you.

ReplyDeleteI was certainly encouraged by your message and can totally relate to God's faithfulness in All circumstances!
We continue to pray for you and Gerald as the healing process takes place.
Billy was able to attend chapel Wed. night and you both were lifted up in prayer.
