Good Morning from the bedside chair. I am so thankful that yesterday is over and Gerald can begin to heal. There are many stories to tell about how God has surrounded us with His angels. We have felt His presence at every turn. We also have received excellent care here. This morning the doctor indicated at least a couple of days more here and at least 2 weeks of staying off of the leg to give the muscle flap time to heal, then, I guess, starting to move around with crutches or something.
So many people have asked what they can do. Right now I don't know of anything that you can do for us except minister to each other and continue the kingdom's work. Ben Wilson and Craig Hoxie are putting together the Bolivia Mission Trip Fund Raising Stew this Saturday. They need people to cook meat, peel potatoes and BUY STEW!! You can reserve stew by calling the office. Right now it looks like Gerald and I may not get to go to Bolivia, but this trip is so important to us (as are all the mission trips). There are many more important events coming up in the next two months and there will be many opportunities for you to be an active part of the body of Christ. Thank you for your continued prayers and don't forget to pray for the many others who need your prayers more than we do. We love you.
